About Crane Heath Services

Crane Health Services is a private healthcare provider committed to improving the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities through quality, accessible, and reliable medical care. The organization began operations in January 1997 as a single outpatient clinic with a supporting laboratory located in Kyengera Trading Centre, approximately 6 kilometers along Masaka Road. Later in the same year, in August 1997, Crane Health Services expanded by opening a second outpatient clinic in the heart of the city at Plot 8 Johnstone Street, where more specialized and sophisticated medical services were introduced. In 1998, both clinics were formally incorporated into a single company under the name Crane Medical and Laboratory Services. As the scope of services and responsibilities continued to grow, the organization was later renamed Crane Health Services to better reflect its expanding role in comprehensive healthcare delivery. Today, Crane Health Services operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering outpatient and inpatient admissions, a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, and a standby ambulance to support emergency response and referrals.
